Happy Spring! And boy is it in the air. We have been doing so much this last month. Our multiplication facts have been memorized, and we have learned measurement in the stand and metric systems. We have been trying really hard to keep our Lenten promises. We are looking forward to the Jog-a-thon and Easter Break.

We have also been discussing some parables, learning about solids, liquids, and gases, and learning how to write better sentences and paragraphs. As we enter this last trimester of third grade it amazing to see all the growth and still there is much to do.

Some really great news is that we have also been reading like crazy. Our class has 19 kids with over 100% of their goal and by the time this goes out probably another 2. We also have 10 kids over 200% and 1 with over 500%. Way to go! As a class we have read 17.5 MILLION words! WOW!
