Since we have had a short week, we are still focusing on Water Habitats.Some of the Science standards we will cover will 1 LS 2.c. Students know animals eat plants or other animals for food and may also use plants or even other animals for shelter and nesting,Vocabulary: food chain, pollen, cones and seedling.

Keys to Legibility: Shape, Size, Spacing & Slant
We are really working hard with spacing in Handwriting.Remind them when they are doing their homework to put a finger between words.The children need to concentrate on neatness rather than quickness.
Religion
The continued focus this week is:To discover the seasons of the Church year.

The students will learn about Jane Addams, a historical figure who influenced the nation and demonstrated good citizenship.She fought for the rights of poor women. She believed in justice and equality and won a Nobel Peace prize for her work in the community.
The students will list and draw laws that they see in their community.
