PE Monthly News - May 2010

 

 

Hello Raiders! The weather has been beautiful and perfect for our outdoor activities. The lower grade classes have been working on their basketball dribbling and shooting skills. Our relay races this month have included running, jumping, hula hooping, and zigzag racing around classmates.  The upper grade classes have been working on team sports such as soccer, gatorball, and baseball. Remember to bring your P.E. uniform to class and work on some extra strength exercises at home like high-five push ups and sit-ups. Here’s a healthy cooking tip: The next time you make spaghetti or lasagna, try using whole-wheat pasta and part-skim, low moisture mozzarella cheese. Have a blessed day!
