Goal Statement:  Holy Name of Mary School will enhance its Catholic identity by strengthening positive relationships between school and parish ministries through celebrating our faith, traditions, and sacramental life.

Objective # 1:  To create a biblical faith formation program for students and families.

ENROLLMENT

Goal Statement:  Holy Name of Mary School will design and implement a marketing plan that focuses on our academic excellence and emphasizes our mission of service.

Objective # 1:  To develop and conduct an annual parent survey.

Objective # 2:  To develop and conduct an exit interview with all departing students.

STAFFING

Goal Statement: Holy Name of Mary School will attract and retain highly qualified staff who share its mission and philosophy while placing an emphasis on ongoing professional development.

Objective # 1:  To improve all teachers' ability to integrate current technology with the teaching/learning process.

Objective # 2:  To maintain through the long-range financial plan a competitive compensation package.

CURRICULUM

Goal Statement: Holy Name of Mary School will maintain its high academic standards by maximizing resources, refining the learning process, and developing facilities and technology to support the curriculum.

Objective # 1:  To develop critical benchmarks to guide curriculum.

Objective # 2:  To further develop the science program and laboratory.

TECHNOLOGY

Goal Statement: Holy Name of Mary School will identify and provide the necessary technological resources for students, faculty and staff, to enhance the educational process.

Objective # 1:  To purchase/update technology-based on previously assessed needs.

FACILITIES

Goal Statement: Holy Name of Mary School will identify and prioritize the existing needs and develop a short- and long-range master plan.

Objective # 1:  To identify and prioritize facility needs.

FINANCES

Goal Statement: Holy Name of Mary School will prepare a detailed long-range financial plan that coordinates the input of the various school committees and will maintain responsible financial reporting and budgeting.

Objective # 1:  To develop five-year financial plan.

Objective # 2:  To develop the 2010-2011 budget based on the assumptions built into the long-range plan.

DEVELOPMENT/PR

Goal Statement: Holy Name of Mary School will create a Development Committee to oversee a comprehensive development plan to attract additional resources and to reinvigorate communication efforts.

Objective # 1:  To create a Development Committee.

Objective # 2:  The newly formed Development Committee, in conjunction with the administration will prepare a comprehensive development plan.

SCHOOL IN THE COMMUNITY

Goal Statement: Holy Name of Mary School will promote and publicize the successes of its students, faculty and staff to local and extended communities.

Objective # 1:  To consistently communicate information about the school and its activities.
