Dear Parents,

The month of March brings us to the end of Lent and to the glorious Feast of the Resurrection. The solemn observance of Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday. Each day of Holy Week affords time to reflect on the events which led up to the death and resurrection of Jesus. It is THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD! Use Holy Week as a family storytelling time. I encourage you and your family to take part in the liturgies of Holy Week.

It is my hope that the beautiful season of Easter helps us to see those possibilities for new life and new beginnings in our lives and that we will have the wisdom and courage to let go of the things that bind us and often prevent us from growing.

In the daily scheme of life at HNM, I am aware as we enter the final trimester of the school year this is the time when we elect new board members for the PTG and the Booster Club. We need YOU! Please consider serving our school. Information will come home soon.

I hope to see all of you at the Jog A Thon tomorrow evening. I pray for an enjoyable event and give thanks to Christine Charland and her committee for their tremendous work!

Please pray for our 8^th grade students, their teachers and parents who will travel to Washington, D.C. during vacation. May we all enjoy a few days of rest and renewal. I wish all of you a Happy Easter.
